Northglenn leaves the Front Range League and joins the new EMAC.

Starting this school year, Northglenn is leaving the Front Range League and joining the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference, or what is more commonly known as the EMAC.

Northglenn will no longer be in the Front Range Conference which spanned from Northglenn to Fort Collins.

Instead the EMAC will include teams from Brighton to Northglenn to Aurora.

The new league will not only save money on transportation but it will also align better with the Northglenn’s athletic programs.

NHS will still be competing in the 5A classification, the largest classification of sports in Colorado.

The new league will create some change for the way competitions and regionals are played.

Although the competition may be different, EMAC seems to be a good fit for Northglenn High School.
